{{{*}}}The Northwest ISD board of trustees will conduct its annual review of Superintendent Dr. Karen Rue’s job performance, and possibly take action on her contract, during its meeting Monday.

Trustees will also discuss the focus list for a community-based accountability system, as outlined by a committee of Northwest students, parents, teachers and administrators.

Other agenda items include nominating a candidate for the TASB board of directors, reviewing the district’s long-range technology plan, accepting public purpose gifts given to the district and its schools and inking the necessary documents to obtain easements needed for the construction of V.R. Eaton High School.

The board will renew contracts for workers compensation, specific retention, student insurance, landscaping and transportation, and will hear reports over special education, health/physical education/athletics and construction.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. with the superintendent evaluation in closed session at the NISD Administration Building, 2001 Texan Drive.
