400 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1637 – A man got enraged at his roommate and decided to pour roofing tar all over the guy’s truck.

1300 BLOCK OF CR 3555 – Kids found a bunch of Christmas presents in their backyard.

100 BLOCK OF PR 3387 – A kid was riding a dirt bike on his neighbor’s land and scaring farm animals.

8100 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 51 NORTH – A girl hurled a bowl of cereal at her father.

FEB. 16

INTERSECTION OF FM 51 AND COUNTY ROAD 4191 – A group of children were throwing pine cones at each other.

200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4845 – A woman got into an argument with her husband on Valentine’s Day due to his heavy drinking.


3300 BLOCK OF TEXAS 101 SOUTH – A man selling a pickup truck allowed a potential buyer to take the vehicle for a test drive. The man never returned.


100 BLOCK OF ASHLEY STREET – A woman reported that someone stole her Arby’s combo meal and some prescription drugs.


1800 BLOCK OF SADDLE RIDGE – A woman reported that approximately one month ago someone drugged her and then ran her over with a car.


100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 1315 – A gang of kids armed with airsoft guns were roaming the neighborhood and pelting windows with plastic pellets.


300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4659 – A woman got into an argument with her grandson because he wouldn’t clean his room.


100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4859 – A woman got into an argument with her daughter because she woke her during a good sleep.

12400 BLOCK OF PINESTRAW ROAD – A man became upset when his wife told him she wanted to visit an old boyfriend. He told her to get out of their house, but she refused.

MAY 22

300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3023 – A woman woke up and found a strange man in her room. He fled, but officers located him later. He had been at a party down the road from the victim’s house and stumbled into her house afterwards.

100 BLOCK OF SPRING MEADOW LANE – A married couple got into an argument over fried mushrooms.

3600 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 51 – A suspect attempted to sell copper nameplates stolen from a cemetery located in another county.

7300 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 920 – A man complained that someone sold meat to his wife.

200 BLOCK OF STONEGATE DRIVE – A man reported that two screws were missing from a front door.

100 BLOCK OF RUNNING BEAR TRAIL – A woman reported her husband was acting delusional.


400 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3343 – A man reported that a neighbor tossed a bunch of nails into his driveway and the road in front of it. It was the second time it had happened in two days.


400 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4213 – A man assaulted his friend with a golf putter.


400 BLOCK OF ECHO – After being absent for some time, a woman discovered that a neighbor had erected a fence around her property and filled it with cattle without her permission.


100 BLOCK OF PRESKITT ROAD – A man said his body was covered in invisible insects and several people were out to get him. It was determined the man had dropped acid, a powerful hallucinogen. He was arrested for public intoxication.


300 BLOCK OF MELLOWN STREET – A woman said she left some jewelry sitting out in the open on her front porch in Newark. When she returned later she was surprised to find the jewelry missing.


100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 1519 – A woman suspected her baby’s daddy was serving their nine-year-old daughter alcohol.


700 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4681 – A 30-year-old man threw a fit after his mom told him he couldn’t smoke K2, synthetic marijuana, in the house anymore.


INTERSECTION OF FARM ROADS 2123 AND 51 – A man reported that his ex-wife assaulted him after he caught her trying to steal his trailer.


100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1111 – A man reported his neighbor shot him with a BB gun several weeks ago, and now he thinks he’s cut off his water supply.

AUG. 6

3000 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 920 – A homeowner complained that “loud Hispanic music” was being played at a neighbor’s house.

AUG. 9

INTERSECTION OF U.S. 81/287 AND COUNTY ROAD 4421 – A man reported that a man on horseback threw a beer bottle at his vehicle and damaged his rear window.

AUG. 17

100 BLOCK OF LANGE WAY – Parents reported they were having trouble with a son who recently took up smoking methamphetamine.

AUG. 24

500 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 2937 – A man reported that he was filming someone and they “mooned” him.

AUG. 25

300 BLOCK OF BUFFALO STREET – A woman complained that everytime her kids stay with their father they always come home smelling like marijuana.


800 BLOCK OF U.S. 287 SOUTH – A man reported that a member of the Aryan Brotherhood, a white supremacist prison gang, had captured his ex-girlfriend and was holding her against her will. Investigators found the report to be unfounded after they discovered the alleged victim shopping at Walmart in Decatur with a handicapped Mexican-American.

INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROADS 3519 AND 3516 – A woman used the online service Craig’s List to try and sell an iPad. When she met the potential buyer, he just grabbed her iPad, jumped in his car and drove off without paying her.


300 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 920 – A diabetic man reported this his wife stole his insulin and flattened all the tires on his car.


INTERSECTION OF DECATUR AND HOVEY STREET – A woman got into an argument with her husband about him stealing Pampers from the Chico Mart.

SEPT. 16

900 BLOCK OF CUBA ROAD – A man was arrested for endangering a child after he was found intoxicated and walking down the road late at night with his 2- and 3-year-old sons.

SEPT. 18

900 BLOCK OF N. MAIN STREET – A woman reported that a dog bit her while she was wrestling her boyfriend.

SEPT. 28

12600 BLOCK OF FORREST LAWN – A father had finally had enough of his son disrespecting him so he challenged him to a boxing match. The pair donned boxing gloves and duked it out in the backyard. The fight was over and the son was gone by the time deputies arrived.

OCT. 2

2500 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 1204 – Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call early in the morning at a home near Greenwood. A young woman got upset after her mom woke her up at 2:30 a.m. The mom thought it was 5:30 a.m.

NOV. 8

1300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4280 – Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home south of Decatur for a domestic disturbance. A man was involved in a heated argument with his stepson over the amount of bacon his stepson had cooked.

NOV. 16

100 BLOCK OF LURE STREET – A man was spotted roaming a neighborhood near Lake Bridgeport in a golf cart while brandishing a gun.

NOV. 19

400 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1695 – A woman thought her husband had attempted suicide by shooting himself after she saw a bloody wound on his head. Deputies discovered he only suffered a minor cut after he had accidentally bumped his head on a picture frame.

NOV. 20

300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4773 – A man called the sheriff’s office out of concern for his welfare after his wife became angry at him after she found out he was a cross dresser.

100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 3230 – A man threatened to hurt another man. When that didn’t accomplish what he wanted, he threatened to call the man’s boss and get him fired.

DEC. 20

100 BLOCK OF CROSS-ROADS COURT – The holidays got the best of one couple. Sheriff’s deputies were called to a house just south of Paradise after a husband and wife got into a fierce argument over wrapping Christmas presents.

DEC. 22

100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1591 – A child became so upset about his parents taking his XBox away from him that he wrapped a rope around his neck and threatened to hang himself if he didn’t get his video game console back.
