Courtney Forman Wren of Decatur and Phillip Wade Daugherty of Bridgeport were married June 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Decatur.
The bride is the daughter of Judge Stephen Wren and LaDonna Wren of Decatur. Her father, along with Pastor Ken May, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The groom is the son of Karen Daugherty of Decatur and David and Michele Daugherty of Bridgeport.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Maid of honor was Julianne Gage, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kayla Keese, Lauren Floyd, Amanda Reyes, Brandi Johnson, Lauren Holmes, Kassie Daugherty and Leah Combs.
Flower girls were the bride’s nieces: Anna Wren, daughter of Jason and Jennifer Wren; and Farrah Wren, daughter of Landon and Holly Wren.
Best man was Joseph Krebs, childhood friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Cody Romines, Dustin Smalley, Charley Reid, Brennan Williams, Daniel Offutt, Landon Wren and Jason Wren.
Junior groomsmen were the bride’s nephews, Samuel Wren and Isaac Wren, sons of Jason and Jennifer Wren.
Ushers were Bryan Nichols and Heath Woodard.
Soloists were Stevi Perkins and John Hogan.
The bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Decatur Civic Center.
Following a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple live in Argyle.
The bride graduated from Decatur High School in 2003 and Texas Tech University in 2008. She is a teacher and coach in Lewisville ISD.
The groom graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2003 and Sam Houston State University in 2007. He works for Devon Energy.
