Courtney Dianne Hughes and Kenneth Anthony Lue Jr. of Cedar Park were married Sept. 13, 2013, at The Hummingbird House in Austin.
Bro. Bill Hughes of Decatur, the bride’s grandfather, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bobby and KaSondra Hughes of Decatur.
The groom is the son of Ruth Sarvis of Snellville, Ga.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless, ivory Allure Couture gown with lace detail, buttons and jewel clusters down the back.
She wore a chapel-length Allure Couture veil edged in hand-stitched beads. She carried a bouquet of jewel-toned anemones, zennias, ranauculus, cock’s comb, fiddle fern and jewels tied together with a French-braided, eggplant, satin ribbon.
Maid of honor was Chelsea Hughes, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Jenny Blaschke.
Bridal attendants wore Bill Levkoff, strapless, knee-length dresses in eggplant. They carried bouquets of ranaucules, anemones and zennias in jewel tones with hints of sparkles, tied together with eggplant satin ribbon.
Flower girl was Madelyn Fernihough, daughter of Breanne and Trey Fernihough. Ringbearer was Cody Hughes, son of Ronnie and Frances Hughes.
Best man was Aaron Pauls, and groomsman was Stephen Perry.
Usher was Mikey Garcia. Guestbook attendant was Kendall Lay.
The bride and groom hosted a reception at The Hummingbird House.
Following a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple live in Austin.
Both attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., where they met.
She works for The Cake Plate in Austin. He works for Perla’s Seafood Restaurant, also in Austin.
