{{{*}}}Carla Jeanne Lee and James Andrew Johnson of Fort Worth were married Nov. 23, 2013, at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

Rev. Charles Wylie, uncle of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Louise Lee and the late Eugene Lee of Decatur.

The groom is the son of Colleen and Richard Johnson of Huntington Beach, Calif.

Escorted by her nephews, Todd Smith of Decatur and Tony Horn of Fort Worth, the bride wore an heirloom ballgown of ivory satin with an off-the-shoulder bodice that featured beaded Alencon lace. She wore ivory western boots with pearl beading, a pearl necklace, which was a gift from her mother, and pearl and garnet earrings.

Her headpiece included a fascinator of feathers, pearls and satin ribbon and a birdcage veil of Russian netting and bridal illusion.

Her wedding ring was designed by her mother and was made from her parents’ wedding rings.

She carried a cascade bouquet of calla lillies, roses and stephanotis, which featured a framed photograph of her late father.

Matron of Honor was Julie Bair of Fort Worth. Bridesmaids were Rynn Ziller of Keller; Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of the groom, of Fort Worth; Leslie Fletcher, sister of the bride, of May; and Sharon Van Baale, sister of the bride, of Jacksboro.

Bridal attendants wore black-crepe, floor-length gowns with western boots and carried bouquets of baby’s breath tied with a sheer red bow.

Flower girls were Eryn Robertson, great-niece of the bride and daughter of Kristi and Tony Robertson of Cisco, and Bianca Birrittieri, goddaughter of the bride and daughter of Lori Johnson and Tony Birrittieri of Flower Mound.

They wore red tutu dresses with black velvet bolero jackets and western boots.

Ringbearers were the groom’s nephews, Nicholas Johnson, son of Becky and Tom Johnson of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Carmine Volini, son of Catie and Brad Volini of Lewisville.

Best man was Richard Johnson, father of the groom, of Huntington Beach. Groomsmen were Walter Johnson, son of the groom, of Fort Worth; Jerry Johnson, brother of the groom, of Huntington Beach; Tom Johnson, brother of the groom, of Fountain Valley; and Krystal Henry of Fort Worth was groomswoman.

Ushers were Brad Volini, brother-in-law of the groom, of Lewisville; Mike Fletcher, brother-in-law of the bride, of May; and Gene Van Baale, brother-in-law of the bride, of Jacksboro.

Guestbook attendent was Kristi Robertson, niece of the bride.

A reception, given by the bride’s mother, followed at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Servers were Jamie Johnson, daughter of the groom, and Katy, Sarah and Gabbie Horn, and Dianna Van Baale, great-nieces of the bride.

The couple was honored at a rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents at Cattleman’s Steakhouse the evening before the wedding.

Following a one-week wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple live in Fort Worth.

The bride graduated from Decatur High School and Texas Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in science and humanities. She works for the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.

The groom graduated from Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach and California State University at Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. He works for Tarrant County Community Supervision and Corrections Department.
