Kate Colburn and Chris Kuhlman of Bridgeport were married Friday, May 17, 2013, at The Club at Runaway Bay. Pastor Rocky Johnson with Grace Fellowship, Alliance Campus, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Karen Colburn of Bridgeport.
The groom is the son of Lisa Kuhlman and Lorenzo Garza of Bridgeport.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin, fitted gown that featured crystal beading and a simple mid-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and coral peonies.
Maid of honor was T-rae Stone, and Jonna Jameson was a bridesmaid. They wore Malibu blue strapless sundresses.
Flower girl was Lexi Feragan, daughter of Valerie Reasoner.
Ringbearer was Clay Colburn, brother of the bride.
Best man was Jon Garza, and Eddie Rodriguez was a groomsman.
Ushers were Ross Cargillse and Rey Garza, and guestbook attendent was Sabrina Garza.
A reception was held afterward.
The bride graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2010 and earned an associate’s degree of science from North Central Texas College. She is a surgical technologist in the labor and delivery unit at Denton Presbyterian Hospital.
The groom graduated from Bridgeport High in 2009 and earned an associate’s of applied arts and sciences from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services. He works for DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.
They will live in Denton.
