Billy Joe and Lawana Snider of Decatur will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family reception March 3, at the home of Merl and Terrie Pryor.

Billy Joe and the former Lawana Kerr were married Feb. 20, 1953.

Their children and their spouses are Vickie and Greg Quebe, Terrie and Merl Pryor and Teresa Snider, all of Decatur. They have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Both are members of First Baptist Church in Decatur where Billy Joe serves as an active deacon.
