Desarae Begley and Einstein Mathes of Chico announce the birth of a daughter, Zephyr JoanMarie Mathes, on Nov. 13, 2013, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur.

She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 18 inches long.

She has one sister: Lillien Mathes, 3.

Grandparents are Diana and William Begley of Chico, Joe and Donna Walker of Chico and Jim Mathes of Odessa.

Great-grandparents are Joan and Eddie Begley of Fort Worth, Lillie McClanahan of Chico and Malcolm Jackson of Fort Worth.
