Jeff and Byllee Mcclure of Decatur announce the birth of a son, Ryder James, on Jan. 17, 2013, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 8 pounds and was 20 1/4 inches long.

He has a sister: Jocelyn Ava, 2.

Grandparents are Roxann Sims of Decatur and Yvonne Sutherland of California.

Great-grandparents are Joann Coates and Jim Coates.
