Conor and Laurie Hayhurst of Haslet announce the birth of a daughter, Ruby Caroline, on March 7, 2013, at North Texas Community Hospital in Bridgeport. She weighed 7 pounds, 10.5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She has two brothers: Jack, 10, and Zeke, 6; and two sisters: Zoe, 9, and Tillie, 3.

Grandparents are Martin and Mary Schramm of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charlie and Roxanne Hayhurst of Moscow, Idaho.

Great-grandparents are Faye Starr of Denver and Agnes Chandler of Jacksonville.
