Yvonne and Carlos Acuna of Alvord announce the birth of a son, Leonardo Ruben, on Jan. 15, 2013, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Diana and Raul Chavarria, Emanuel Basaldu, and Ruben Acuna and Graciela Sandoval Torres.

Great-grandparents are Leonor Martinez, Mary Basaldu and Santiago Basaldu.
