Zachary and Alissa Burns of Decatur announce the birth of a daughter, Eliza Burns, on Feb. 7, 2013, at Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton. She weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 17 3/4 inches long.

She has a brother, Ethan Burns, 6.

Grandparents are Louis and Joyce Horton of Decatur and Neil and Cindy Burns of Fremont, Neb.

Great-grandparents are Arch and Laurel Marshall and Robert Burns, all of Moulton, Iowa, Bonnie Horton of Paradise, and Geneva Hudson of Decatur.
