Mandi McGahey and Jason McGahey of Boyd announce the birth of a son, Braeden Jason Wade, on Jan. 10, 2013, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Larry and Judy McGahey and Michael and Della Barnett, all of Boyd.
