Chad and Jessie Evans of Comanche announce the birth of a daughter, Avery Ryan, on Jan. 28, 2013, at Brownwood Regional Hospital in Brownwood. She weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

She has one brother, Weston Evans.

Grandparents are Judy and Ricky Stutt of Decatur, and Ricky and Cindy Evans of Brownwood.

Great-grandparents are Ed and Lola Warner of Davis, Okla., Valree Evans of Blanket, Willie Decker of Decatur, and Tom and Betty George of Brownwood.
