Patricia Byers of Chico announces the birth of a daughter, Abbi Shaye, on Jan. 18, 2013, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 7 pounds and was 15 inches long.

She has five sisters: Haley, 19, Brittany, 18, Courtney, 15, Chloe, 12, and Maci, 5.

Grandparents are Linda and Jurden Byers of Chico, Benny Manriquez of Paradise and Marcia Gorny of New York.
