The following local students were named to the fall 2012 Dean’s List at Texas State University in San Marcos: Allison Mynarcik of Alvord, Kevin McBee of Decatur and Whitney Vrba of Decatur.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 while taking at least 12 semester hours.
