Willie Randle Jr. IV

Willie Randle Jr. IV, 60, of Decatur died Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Decatur.

Funeral was April 8 at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Decatur with Jeff Merideath officiating. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Aaron McNeill, Kimble Walters, Lonnie Norris, Marco Polamo, Rene Polamo and Robert Smith.

Willie was born April 22, 1952, in Decatur to Willie Jr. III and Mary Elizabeth (Ross) Randle. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness for 41 years.

Willie is survived by sisters Queen Elizabeth Randle, Marilyn Randle and Mattie Randle, all of Decatur; brothers Charles Randle and wife, Lula, of Lancaster, Calif., and Tommy Randle and wife, Joyce, of San Demas, Calif.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Elizabeth Ann Randle.

  1. There was not a better Man and Citizen than Willie “Freight Train” Randle. I have a lot of good memories of him. He always had time to talk to everyong.”Frieght Train” was a name he earned in high school. Would be tacklers would just hitch a ride on the Freight Train or get ran over.
