William Isaac Arwine Jr. 81, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Weatherford.
He was born July 2, 1931, in Bridgeport to W.I. and Myrtle Brown Arwine. He resided in Parker County and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Weatherford. William retired from Murdock/Lockheed Martin where he worked as a machinist.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Harris and husband, Terry, of Burleson; stepdaughter Ren Callahan and husband, Bob, of Myrtle Beach, N.C.; son Waylen Scott Arwine and wife, Jackie, of Kennett, Mo.; stepson Devery Powers and wife, Lisa, of Nashville, Tenn., and former step-son-in-law, Michael McFadden; grandchildren: Kyle Harris and fianc e, Meredith Brown, Michelle Anderson and husband, Trey, Brandi Herring and husband, Dennis, R.J. Arwine and wife, Jes, and Amanda Roecker and husband, Christopher; three great-grandchildren; sister Jane Dethloff of Lawrence, Kan.; brother O’Dell Kimble of Portland, Tenn.; and special friend Bess Bode of Springtown.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home in Weatherford. Funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at the funeral home with the Rev. Danny Grisso and Kyle Harris officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens.
