Thomas Howard Lewis | 1932-2013

Thomas Howard Lewis, 80, of Bridgeport, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at his home.

Graveside service was Feb. 18 at East Bridgeport Cemetery, with Brother Ernie Patterson officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Lewis, Alicia Griffin, Colton McCormick, Keith Pittman and Barry Whitehead. Honorary pallbearer was Justin Pope.

Thomas was born May 12, 1932, in Burleson County to Emma Lou (Lawerance) and Ruben Lewis. He was a truck driver for the City of Decatur for 20 years and was a member of the Voice of Triumph Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lela Jenkins Lewis; son Michael Lewis of Wichita Falls; sister Margaret Vuicich of Seagraves; sister-in-law Atza Manuel of Bridgeport; daughter-in-law Alicia Griffin of Wichita Falls; nieces Pat Swindle of Paradise and Anita Golaz of San Antonio; and nephews Larry and Roger Lewis of Paradise.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ray, Leonard, Milroy and Homer Lewis; and sisters Lillian Wilson and Ethel Neagle.
