Ricky Pigg, 51, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Bowie.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Prairie Branch Country Church with Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Tage Cemetery in Bowie.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Ricky was born Nov. 14, 1961, in Bridgeport and graduated from Bowie High School. He was a journeyman electrician for 30 years. He married Clara Cowan Jan. 15, 1998, in Bowie and was a member of IBEW Union. Ricky enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Pigg.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Clara Trahern Pigg of Bowie; mother Margaret Hunt and husband, Elmer, of Bowie; children Felicia Pigg of Decatur, Frankie Pigg of Bowie, Grant Trahern and wife, Kim, of Wichita Falls, Sam Trahern of Bowie, Clinton Ray Trahern and wife, Ashley, of Bowie, and Brent Trahern of Wichita Falls; grandchildren Zaydie Pigg, Raiden and Hazel Trahern, Siah Reed and Ashton Davis; stepmother Carolyn Pigg; brothers Terry Harris and wife, Pam, of Alvord, Monnie Hunt and wife, Margaret, of Bowie, and John Hunt and wife, Kristi, of Bowie; sisters Missy Duncan and husband, Scotty, of Chico and Stacey Masten and husband, John, of Alvord; numerous nieces and nephews.
