Reba Grottie, 88, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in Decatur.

Graveside service was Oct. 29 at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie with arrangements by White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Reba was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Illinois Bend to Francis and Beulah (Jones) Frazier. She married Delbert Grottie Oct. 15, 1943, in Vernon.

Reba was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, sewing and cooking for family gatherings. She also provided an ironing service for the public of Bowie. Reba will be remembered with love and appreciation for her devoted years of life as a mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Beulah Frazier; husband Delbert Grottie; son Trennis Grottie; grandson Philip Couch; great-granddaughter Amarissa Grottie; three brothers; and two sisters.

Reba is survived by her children, Eddie Grottie and wife, Debbie, of Sunset and Alicia Couch and husband, Rodger, of Decatur; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Huddleston of Bowie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
