Kevin Clay “Casey” Caldwell

Kevin Clay “Casey” Caldwell, 50, of Haskell, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at his home.

Graveside service was July 15, at Slidell Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Cates officiating. Burial was under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.

Casey was born July 26, 1962, in Dallas to Kenneth and Monisa (Rinker) Caldwell. He married Marva Denise (Holmes) Bird May 8, 2002, in Haskell. She preceded him in death June 8, 2005.

Casey was a caring, compassionate soul dedicated to helping those in need. He was loved and respected and will truly be missed as a dedicated paramedic for Haskell and Haskell County.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Caldwell.

He is survived by his son, Coleton Caldwell of Seymour; his parents, Kenneth and Monisa Caldwell of Decatur; brother Curtis Caldwell and wife, Brenda, of Corinth; sister Sherrie Caldwell of Gainesville; and three nephews, Marshall, Ty and Will Caldwell.
