Jenner Jones, 67, a retired construction superintendent, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in Boyd.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jenner was born Nov. 1, 1945, to Jenner Richard and Betty (Warner) Jones in New York City. He married Shirley Edelen Jan. 5, 1982, in Fort Worth. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Jenner was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Brian Peters.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jones of Boyd; five sons; four daughters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
