Jeanine Rhoades, 58, of Bowie died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie with burial at Silver Hill Cemetery in Jack County.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home.
Jeanine was born Dec. 5, 1954, to Raymond and Inez (Turgeon) Helgeson and raised in Long Beach, Calif. She also graduated from high school and nursing school in Long Beach. Jeanine worked as a nurse in California, Michigan and most recently, Texas, including Wise Regional Health System in Decatur, and retired with 37 years of service. She married Jimmy Rhoades May 6, 2006, in Burkburnett. Jeanine enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching and organizing annual Spongebob Squarepants parties for her grandchildren and neighborhood kids. She is remembered with love and appreciation for her devoted years of life as a wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Inez Helgeson.
Jeanine is survived by her husband, Jimmy Rhoades of Bowie; daughters Lisa Turner and husband, Brice, of Burkburnett and Dawn Redwine and husband, Rodney, of Anna; stepchildren Ciarra Killen of Montague, Brianne Rhoades of Cudjo Key, Fla., Brance Rhoades and fianc e, Bethany Kerr, of Bowie and Chance Rhoades of Bowie.
She is also survived by grandchildren Christopher and Caleb Turner and Kyler, Kaycee and Karleigh Redwine; brothers Raymond Helgeson and wife, Donna, of Magalia, Calif., Richard Helgeson and wife, Juanita, of Martin, Tenn., Dennis Helgeson and wife, Joyce, of Fort Worth and Stephen Helgeson and wife, Janet, of Ontario, Calif.; sisters Rosemary Helgeson and husband, Coolidge McClain, of Cerritos, Calif., Anita Sanborn and husband, Bret, of West Branch, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
