James Clyde Hix, 64, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in Arlington.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at South Center Baptist Church in Arlington. Graveside service is 2:30 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Jim was born June 25, 1948, in Decatur to James and Rudean Hix. He worked as a forklift technician for almost 40 years and was currently employed at Darr Equipment. He was a member of South Center Baptist Church in Arlington.
Hix was preceded in death by his father, James Hix.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Hix of Arlington; mother and stepfather Dean and Don Spain of Decatur; sons Jerry Hix and wife, Lauri, of River Oaks, Brad Hix and wife, Amy, of Boerne, and Michael Hix; grandson James Hix and granddaughter Abigail Hix; sister Terri Cramer and husband, Jerry, of Fontana, Calif.; stepbrother Cliff Spain and wife, Rayna, of Granbury; stepsisters Cheryl Mosley and husband, David, of Decatur and Gayle Spain; other family members and a host of friends.
