Jack Riley, 86, died Tuesday, Christmas Eve morning, Dec. 24, 2013, at his home in Keeter.
Graveside service was Dec. 27 at Keeter Cemetery with the Revs. Mark Autry, Brandon Autry and Willie Haak officiating. Burial was under the direction of Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Jack was born May 19, 1927, in Fredrick, Okla., to Robert and Mattie Bell (Forbes) Riley. He married Moveline Niblett April 29, 1949, in Fort Worth. He retired from General Dynamics.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Morgan and Foy Riley; sisters Geneva Parker, Francis McKinney and Juanita (JoJo) Dutton.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Moveline Riley of Keeter; son Mike Riley and wife, Donna, of Sanger; daughters Connie Boswell and husband, Walt, of Peyton, Colo., Gay Jackson of Euless and Julie Autry and husband, Mark, of Boyd; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
