Emma Ree Mosier

Emma Ree Mosier, 97, formerly of Alvord, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Bedford.

Graveside service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Alvord Cemetery with Gerald Ball officiating.

Emma Ree was born March 20, 1916, to Allen and Allice (Billington) Pinkerton. She married Elbert Mosier March 1, 1931, in Decatur, and they were married 50 years at his death in 1981. Emma Ree and Elbert were owners of Mosier’s Grocery in Alvord from 1938 to 1958.

Survivors include her son, Weldon Mosier and wife, Evelyn, of Euless; daughter Erma Faye Holmes and husband, Billy, of Garland; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings and other family members.
