Donald Durwood Dixson
Memorial service is 5 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Renewal Fellowship Church, 112 E. Rock Island Ave. in Boyd.
Donald was born July 7, 1933 to Thomas and Lillian (Davis) Dixon in Fort Worth. He married Ruby Jo Robertson June 6, 1969 in Fort Worth. A proud veteran of the United States Navy and the Korean War, he was of the Assemblies of God faith.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Debbie Lancaster and Patsy Ann Dixson; grandson Derik Lancaster; brothers Jack and Weldon Dixson, and sister Billie Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruby Dixson of Avondale; sons Donald Dixson of Keller and Leonard Dixson of Fort Worth; daughters Gloria Grant of Benbrook and Barbara Dixson of Aurora; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Harry Dixson of Haltom City and Larry Dixson of Keller; other family members and a host of friends.
