Donald was born March 26, 1982, to James and Judy (Montford) Money in Bridgeport. He was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Kidney Foundation, Bridgeport FFA and Bridgeport 4-H.
Donald had a love for agriculture and was well-versed in livestock and plants, especially cattle. He loved his cows and dogs and would share his trials with them as he battled chronic kidney disease throughout his life.
He faced chronic pain and fatigue every day but always had a smile that could light up a room. He never felt sorry for himself and always tried to help others with a word of encouragement through Facebook, emails or a phone call. Once Donald became someone’s friend, he was there to the end. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Donna Sue Bird, and grandmother Mary Lou Money.
Survivors include his parents, James and Judy Money of Bridgeport; sister Jodi Money of Bridgeport; grandparents Donald and Verda Montford of Bridgeport; grandfather Kenneth Money of Monahans; aunts and uncles extended, David and Beth Montford, Carol Money, and Donny and Dawn Money; four-legged friends Ciara, Brody and Izzi; other family members and a host of friends.
