Cletis Timmon Shaw

Cletis Timmon Shaw, 70, died Feb. 1, 2013. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 6, at Shaw’s Funeral Home in Bowie.

Cletis was born April 10, 1942, in New Mexico. He graduated from Alvord High School in 1960, where he was voted “Most Handsome,” “Most Popular,” and “Mr. AHS.” After graduation, he served four years in the United States Air Force. For the majority of his career, he was a master carpenter and craftsman.

Cletis was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lucille, and his brother, Tex Ronnie.

He leaves behind his wife, Diane, of Kennesaw, Ga.; daughters Misty Shaw Winn of Keller and Melissa Baird of Azle; son Michael Shaw of Saginaw; sister Clydena Bryant of McKinney; six grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him very much.
