Billy Thomas Frantom Jr., 58, beloved husband and father, died Thursday, May 30, 2013, in Azle.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at White’s Funeral Home in Springtown with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Tommy was born Oct. 29, 1954, in West Monroe, La., to Billy Frantom Sr. and the late Gay Hibbard Frantom.
He served five years in the United States Marine Corps, was a graduate of the University of Houston and owned and operated the Hot Skillet Restaurant in Alvord from 2002 to 2008 and Shinola’s Texas Cafe in Springtown since 2008. On Feb. 6, 2005, he married Robin in a ceremony at the Hot Skillet.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Gay Hibbard Frantom; brother “Sonny” Frantom and his Little Bella.
Survivors include his wife, Robin; daughters Olivia, Cassie and Lisa; sons Kyle, Bryan, and Neil; eight grandchildren; father Billy T. Frantom; brother Joe Frantom; sister Renee Love and husband, David; numerous nieces and nephews, and his Shinola’s family.
