Bennie T. Clark, 80, a retired salesman for O.B. Macaroni, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, in Bedford.
Funeral was Dec. 20 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with the Rev. Joseph L. Troutman officiating. Burial followed at Boyd Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Tackett, Raymond Clark, Donald Wilson, Gary Grubbs, J.D. Chitty, John Chitty, Rick Harris and Darrell Sittig.
Bennie was born June 3, 1933, to Tullus E. and Ada Bell (Crosby) Clark in Edinburg, Miss. He married Lizzie Annett Smith June 3, 1955, in White Settlement and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan, if they were winning. Bennie and Lizzie loved to travel and wanted to make one more trip to Mississippi to see friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lizzie Smith of Bedford; daughter Kathy Chitty and husband, John, of Hurst; grandchildren Kristen, Melissa, J.B., Deborah and Abigail; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
