The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office will host its third annual Teacher Workshop 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 17-18 at Weatherford College Wise County, on U.S. 380 between Decatur and Bridgeport.

Cost is $30 and that includes lunch and materials. The workshop is open to all teachers and child-care providers who work with youth in kindergarten through eighth grade.

This year’s workshop will be filled with fun, hands-on activities that include lessons out of the various curriculum offered by the Texas Farm Bureau, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the 4-H program.

The workshop will focus on soil and plant science, bullying, life cycles, water conservation, mobile classrooms, health and nutrition and everything in between.

To register, call the Extension office at 940-627-3341, or email Andrea at acalabretta@ag.tamu.edu and please provide your name, email address, address, school and the grade you teach.

Please make sure to send contact information that is good for the summer months.
