A man was killed in a one-vehicle accident just north of Rhome about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. Jeremy Evans, 26, of Rhome was driving north on County Road 4733 in a Toyota Solara when he missed a sharp turn, striking a tree.”He basically drove straight through the curve,” said DPS Trooper Adolpho Patterson. “He was likely intoxicated.” He noted the vehicle smelled strongly of alcohol, and there were four “alcohol containers” in the car. Evans had no passengers.
