Investigators determined the Sept. 5 courthouse fire was intentionally set, and a Decatur man has been charged in the case. According to a press release from the Wise County Sheriff’s Office, Johnny R. Pippin Jr., 26, was arrested on several criminal charges, including arson. His bond for that charge was set at $750,000. He remains in the Wise County Jail. More information will be posted as it’s available.
