Alvord school district officials have confirmed that the victim killed by a train yesterday morning a couple of miles north of Alvord was a student at the school. Cheyanne Dollins, 14, of Alvord would have been a freshman at the high school this year. She was in the same class as Marcus Silletti, who was killed by a train in Alvord earlier this month. A memorial for Dollins is 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Alvord.
