Following a five-hour executive session, the Runaway Bay City Council Wednesday voted to accept Police Chief Drew Paschall’s resignation and place City Administrator Greg Leveling on administrative leave with pay effective at the end of the work-day Wednesday. The “final terms” of Paschall’s resignation were to be negotiated by the city’s attorney. “The council wanted to go one direction, I wanted to take the department another,” Paschall said. Leveling declined to comment, citing possible litigation.
