Paradise senior pitcher Laura Wilson will throw one more game before heading off to college.

Wilson was picked this week to pitch in the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star game. She will play for the A-2A-3A Red team July 10 in Arlington at the Workman Complex.

Wilson, who has signed with McLennan Community College, turned in a solid season for the Lady Panthers this past season. She went 14-4 with a 1.68 ERA. She struck out 219 batters to earn the District 10-2A Pitcher of the Year.

Behind her, Paradise made the area round of the playoffs.
