Slidell (14-2) pulled out a close game against Archer City Tuesday, 43-40.

Trent Garrett led the way with 14 and Scott Bingham had 10. Jarrett Tinsman added eight and Isaac Davis tossed in six.

The Greyhounds begin district play Tuesday when they travel to Saint Jo.
