The loss drops Bridgeport to 11-9.
“We started off very strong,” Bridgeport coach Rebekah Cummings said. “The girls made adjustments quickly and played smart, but the momentum slowly started fading.”
Despite the loss, Cummings still likes where her team stands with one week left until district competition.
“It’s coming together,” Cummings said. “It puts us in a good position with district around the corner.”
Mariah Clayton led the way against the Lady Rams with 20 kills, six aces, two blocks and a dig. Sabrina Garza added 16 kills, two assists and seven digs.
