The Bridgeport Sissies dropped their fourth straight district contest Friday.
Bridgeport (14-14, 0-4) lost to Sanger 25-20, 25-12, 25-12.
“This was a disappointing loss for us,” Bridgeport coach Rebekah Cummings said. “We came out and played lights out in game one, we just had some untimely errors. But game two and three, we really tensed up and started making bad decisions.”
The Sissies were led by Tiffany Hawkins with 16 assists, two kills, six digs and one ace. Mariah Clayton recorded seven kills and four blocks. Jessica Mares added six digs. Sabrina Garza had four kills and a dig.
Bridgeport will travel to Krum Friday.
