The Bridgeport Bulls fell to Ponder Tuesday, 52-44. Bridgeport trailed by 10 at the half but fought back in the third quarter before the Lions pulled away late.
“We battled hard even though we were really undersized, and we executed very well on the offensive end,” Bridgeport coach Brian Miller said. “We missed several key baskets in critical times.”
Derrick Stanford led the way with 16, and Reese Read had 13. Alex Samples added eight, and Stephen Howdeshell scored seven.
