In the district opener for both squads Friday it was the Paradise Lady Panthers taking care of an injury-riddled Boyd Lady Jacket team, 45-26.

Paradise jumped out to a 16-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 30-9 at the half.

Boyd will host Alvord Friday and Paradise will travel to Millsap.
