The Paradise Panthers will try to erase their two-game losing streak when they head out on the road for the first time this season.
Paradise (0-2) will battle the Leonard Tigers (0-1-1) Thursday at C.H. Collins Athletic Complex in Denton. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
The Panthers will try to bounce back after giving up 14 unanswered points in their 14-12 loss to Henrietta last week.
Leading 12-0, at the half the Panthers could not hold on, turning the ball over five times and committing 11 penalties.
The Panthers outgained Henrietta in all facets of the game except the scoreboard.
Paradise will need to fix the mistakes if they are going to pick up their first win against the Leonard Tigers.
Leonard is coming off a 16-16 tie to Honey Grove. The lights went out in Honey Grove with about six minutes left last week, and the game was eventually called.
Leonard fell to Community 40-29 in their first week of action.
