Lady Eagles take 5th

{{{*}}}The Decatur Lady Eagles swim team captured fifth place at the ninth annual KISD Non-TISCA Invite Nov. 8.

Decatur scored 125 points and first place Keller had 288.5.

Haley Dennard finished first in the 100 freestyle in 59.39 and she picked up sixth in the 100 breaststroke.

Kate Grant placed fifth in the 500 freestyle in 6:16 and she took seventh in the 100 backstroke in 1:14.

Katherine Rowden placed third in the 100 backstroke in 1:07 and Madeleine Semmelmann finished 31st in 1:32.

Baley Phariss took 24th in the 100 breaststroke in 1:28.

The team of Dennard, Grant, Phariss and Rowden took first in the 400 freestyle relay in 4:12.

The Eagles placed 16th at the same meet with two points.

Logan Huff picked up 12th in the 100 freestyle in 58.07. Trey Dale captured 28th in 1:04.20 and Robert Davila swam 1:04.33 for 29th.

Trey Dale finished 36th in the 100 breaststroke in 1:28.

The team of Huff, Davila, Dale and Chase McBride took 18th in 400 freestyle relay in 4:38.
