Lady Eagles slip in win

For the second time in the last three games, the Decatur Lady Eagles won a game in the final seconds.

Murphy Graham nailed a 3-pointer with eight seconds left to lift Decatur over Carrolton Ranchview on Tuesday.

The Lady Eagles (12-7) trailed 24-19 at the half but rallied back to tie things at 33-33 by the end of the third quarter.

Graham had a tremendous night with 23 points and six rebounds. Shelby Drews finished with eight points and eight rebounds. Katie Isham added eight points and pulled down four rebounds. Makayla Mayfield tossed in seven, and Jasmyne Tate scored two and had eight rebounds.

On Friday Decatur topped Aubrey 38-12. The Lady Eagles had a dominating start leading 25-3 at the half.

Graham finished with 10, and Isham added six. Tate tossed in five. Mayfield, Drews and Stormi Leonard each scored four.
