Lady Eagles hit sweet spot in district

The No.3 Decatur Lady Eagles stayed perfect in district play with a sweep of the Sanger Lady Indians Tuesday. Decatur won 25-19, 25-14, 25-15.

The Lady Eagles (33-3, 5-0) were led by Makayla Mayfield with nine kills, three blocks and four digs.

Cooper Martin had eight kills, four blocks, three aces and 10 digs. Caroline Lowery finished with seven kills, two blocks, five digs and an assist. Darci Billmire added nine blocks and three kills. Katie Isham added seven blocks and four kills.

Stormi Leonard handed out 21 assists and recorded 13 digs.

Decatur travels to Bridgeport Tuesday.
