Keller took care of Northwest in the district opener for both teams Tuesday, 56-26. The Lady Texans fell behind 14-4 at the end of the first quarter and trailed 33-11 at the half.

“We ran into a very disciplined and good 3-point shooting team,” Northwest coach Wayne Parker said.

Brianna Barnhill, Bailey Porter and Kelsea Jones all finished with six points.
