Against a tough field, Decatur’s Drew Jones carded a 1-under par, 213, at the Texas/Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament last week in Wichita Falls.

The 14-year-old finished fifth in the 14/15 age group with his three rounds of 70, 74 and 69. He turned in the 2-under 69 in the third round at River Creek Country Club.

More than 350 golfers from four states and Mexico competed in the event.

Three other Decatur golfers played.

Lexi Reed finished 19th in the 14/15 girls division, shooting 261. She fired rounds of 88, 90 and 83.

In the 16/18 class, Blake Lindsay shot rounds of 95, 80 and 84 for a 259. Dylan Erwin shot a 91, 82 and 90 for a 263.
