The Decatur Eagles had a runner-up finish at the Decatur Invitational over the weekend.

In the second round, Decatur edged Canyon, 47-45. Austin Givens led with 13, and Taylor Clayton added 11. Parker Slate tossed in 10.
Decatur opened the tournament with a dominating 72-45 victory over Fort Worth Carter Riverside. Givens led the way with 16, and Mize finished with 14. Clayton poured in 13.
The Decatur JV boys won the Pottsboro Tournament, with a 65-63 win over Pottsboro in the finals. The Decatur freshman team won the consolation championship at the Pottsboro Tournament.
The Eagles will be back in action Friday when they host Bowie.
